About the Author:

Bestselling author, Sharon Cooper hasn’t always been tied to a desk, a computer and a chair. After high school, she spent 10 years as a Sheet Metal Worker. And while enjoying that unique line of work, she attended college in the evening and obtained her B.A. from Concordia University in Business Management with an emphasis in Communication.

Once she received her degree, she ran the family business for 10 years. But after getting tired of the long, cold winters (Milwaukee) she passed the family business baton to one of her brothers. She and her husband then relocated to San Diego…which is where her writing career officially started.

After being in San Diego for several months and craving friends, she met someone who was a writer. At the time, Sharon had played around with the idea, but didn’t get serious until her and her new friend started a writer’s group (which is now - Page-a-Day Writers). She soon realized her passion (and that she had an over active imagination) and wrote a children’s book, entitled “But I Washed My Hands Yesterday!” After the story received numerous rejections from the publishing world, the co-founder of the writer’s group suggested that she turn it into a children’s play. Loving the idea, she made the changes and within a couple of weeks of completing it, the play was acquired by Plays Magazine.

Once the play was sold, she began working on several other writing projects, one being a sweet romance. What was once an idea has become a reality and Sharon has since written a few more romance novels, and is currently working on a non-fiction. She currently has several critique partners and couldn’t imagine enjoying writing as much as she does – if it weren’t for them. Sharon is also a member of Romance Writers of America (RWA) and Georgia Romance Writers (GRW).

While working on her novels, Sharon is also a Virtual Assistant - providing administrative support to small businesses and consultants.

Okay…long story short, Sharon now lives in Atlanta with her wonderful husband. And though she plays many roles, being a wife is her favorite. She’s been blessed with an amazing mate, two wonderful stepchildren and four wonderful godchildren.

As far as Sharon, the individual, she’s a Christian, cherishes her time with Mr. Cooper (her hubby), enjoys any dessert, and she absolutely loves to laugh! She likes rainy days and carpet picnics; she’s obsessed with organization (and order), and is a diehard romantic…and a true believer of happy endings.
